Editorial policy

Our published recommendations are based on verifiable product specifications, authoritative guidance and original analysis of costs, plan limits and support workflows. Commercial relationships do not determine rankings.

Accuracy and updates

Important factual claims should be traceable to a saved source. Pages display their latest substantive update date. Corrections are made when reliable new evidence changes the answer.

Commercial comparisons are checked at least quarterly. A price or plan inclusion is treated as a dated fact, not a permanent promise. We prefer the provider’s UK pricing and product documentation and make currency or billing-period differences explicit.

Product recommendations

We explain why a product fits a particular need and include meaningful limitations.

Affiliate availability is not an inclusion criterion. Commercial links are labelled appropriately, and the underlying relationship does not influence our product selection or conclusions.

Calculations and comparisons

We distinguish provider-published facts from our analysis of their practical implications. Worked examples identify their inputs, formula, billing period and currency. Illustrative scenarios are labelled as such, and recommendations explain the assumptions that could change the conclusion.

Where a price, limit or feature is not clearly documented, we preserve that uncertainty rather than supplying an estimate as a product fact. A low advertised price is not treated as evidence that a plan includes every feature a reader needs.

Corrections

Readers and providers can submit a correction through the contact form. Evidence is assessed against the same source standards used for the original article; payment or partnership requests do not buy editorial changes.
