Privacy notice
How this website handles contact enquiries and basic site data.
Support Sorted is responsible for the personal information collected through this website. For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected].
Information we collect
If you contact us by form or email, we collect the details you provide, including your name, email address and message. The form also collects an enquiry type and any page address you choose to provide. Security services may process technical details such as IP address, browser information and request time to protect the site from abuse. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure page views, referral sources and performance; Cloudflare says this service does not collect or use visitors' personal data.
Why we use it
We use contact information to respond to your enquiry, investigate corrections and protect the service from abuse. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in operating and improving Support Sorted and answering people who contact us. For an enquiry about a possible agreement, processing may also be necessary to take steps you request before entering into a contract. You do not have to contact us, but we need a way to reply if you want a response.
Storage and sharing
Form submissions are saved in Cloudflare D1 before Cloudflare sends an email notification to our inbox. Google processes messages in that inbox. Cloudflare and Google may process information outside the UK; their data-processing terms and data-transfer information describe their arrangements. Email us if you need more information about a particular transfer. We do not sell contact information.
We keep stored contact-form submissions for about 12 months from receipt; a daily scheduled clean-up removes records once they are older than 12 months. Enquiry emails are normally deleted within 12 months of receipt. We may keep a specific email conversation longer if needed to resolve an ongoing request, dispute or legal obligation. Inbox messages are reviewed separately from the automatic form-record clean-up.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law gives you rights to access, correct or erase information, restrict processing and object to processing based on legitimate interests. To exercise a right, email [email protected]. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. We do not use contact enquiries for decisions made solely by automated means with legal or similarly significant effects.
